ABOUT
US
The Fate Trust
was established in 2002 in order to support
women and children who are experiencing domestic violence and/or social
deprivation worldwide. It aims generally to promote the welfare of women
and children
living in the UK, and to work with and support international partners
with similar objectives. In the past The Fate Trust worked successfully
with partners from Russia,
Uzbekistan and Tanzania.
Since its inception
in 2002 The Fate Trust has organised two challenges and has supported
four projects.
Kilimanjary
Challenge 2002 - 13 women set themselves a life changing challenge
rasing over £34,000 to start the Trust off.
Cuba
Challenge 2003 - 5 women set themselves against the elements of the
Escanbray Mountains raising over £6,750.
The Fate Trust is
a sister charity to The Haven Wolverhampton (http://www.havenrefuge.org.uk),
sharing the aim of supporting women and children who are escaping domestic
violence. The Fate Trust supports The Haven's work in Wolverhampton
and international projects working with women and children worldwide. |
